
The Japanese team came back to racing after a 9-year hiatus when it announced it's Super GT programme with McLaren 720S GT3.
Team owner Kazumichi Goh hinted at a possible return at 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well as full-season entry for FIA World Endurance Championship sometime in the future.
"I do have the aim to return to Le Mans somewhere down the line and we're looking at all options," Goh said.
"We'd like to challenge for the overall win again, but we're not ruling out LMP2."
"I've put a couple of guys on watching the regulations and we believe that the estimated budget is sustainable for a privateer," he added.
Team Goh was formed in 1996 by Kazumichi Goh. The team initially competed in JGTC (Japanese Grand Touring Car Championship, now known as Super GT) and won 1996 championship with McLaren F1 GTR. The team then made appearance at Le Mans with several manufacturers like McLaren, BMW and Panoz.

The team then shifted to Audi for FIA Sportscar Championship and made great finishes in Top 10 at Le Mans before winning the race in 2004.
Goh also participated in 1000 km of Spa and 1000 km of Le Mans, winning both with Seiji Ara and Tom Kristensen.
The team last raced at 2009 Le Mans, where it retired while running 2nd due to a crash ar Mulsanne straight, proving to be team's last race for almost a decade.

The squad returns in 2019 in Super GT seseries customer team of McLaren, competing in GT300 class.
