According to Touring Car Times, three cars from GT500 class of Super GT could possibly join DTM grid at Hockenheim for season finale.
After two demo events which saw Nissan and Lexus GT500 cars join DTM for season finale at Hockenheim, and then DTM joining Super GT machines for a demo run at Motegi, 2 promotional events were planned for 2019.

One of the races, that was supposed to be held in Europe is dropped now, with a race in Fuji to take place in last week of November.
The race will be in sprint format, adopting most of the DTM regulations as opposed to Endurance format of Super GT.
The race is aimed to promote the Class One regulations, which will be adopted by DTM in 2019 and Super GT this year. The Class One regulations aim to establish a close relationship between the two series.
