Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is set to make an appearance at this year's Spa 24 Hours race, before the GT2 series.

The 700-Horsepower twin-turbocharged car was unveiled last year in November as a possible entrant for GT2 class that will see more powerful cars taking up to track than the current GT3 class.

The regulations were put forward by Stephane Ratel Organisation (SRO) last year. Although the regulations are not confirmed yet, the cars are expected to have 650-700 HP.

The Porsche was demonstrated at the recent Bathurst 12 Hours event by Mark Webber.

SRO Founder and CEO Stephane Ratel is quite optimistic about the class' future and expects upto 6 manufacturers although only Porsche has announced one till yet.
