#30 Honda Team Motul entry of Farnbacher, Van Der Zande and Baguette.

Mario Farnbacher put a quickest lap late in the 15-minute session to put the debutant Acura NSX GT3 on pole for this weekend's California 8 Hours at Laguna Seca.

His quickest time of 1:23.156s in final moments put the Acura to pole position at it's series debut as several cars made it to top early in the session.

#35 KCMG Nissan will start second overall with Alex Buncombe starting the race from second place.

Dries Vanthoor will start from third for Audi, while fourth grid slot will be filled by #27 HubAuto Corsa Ferrari. Reigning Bathurst winner Matt Campbell will start for Wright Motorsports Porsche from fifth, as six different manufacturers make it to top-six with Walkenhorst entry slowest of them, leading the other BMW Team Schnitzer.

Matthieu Jaminet was eighth quickest, followed by Imperatori and Raffaele Marciello.

The race will kick off on Saturday at 8:30 am local time as live coverage will be carried across CBS Sports Network in America and GT World YouTube Channel worldwide.
