Jonathan Bomarito tops FP2 with Mazda

Jonathan Bomarito was best of the rest overall as the track completely dried after morning rain.

The home favourite driver set the fastest lap of 2:34.672 in #55 Mazda Team RT24-P. In second position was the #5 Mustang Sampling of Filipe Albuquerque, who was 0.711s down the lead. CORE Autosport #54 Nissan was third fastest with 1:35.538 set by Colin Braun.

The #7 Acura and #50 Juncos Racing set the Top 5 with 0.11s between them.

Most notable in DPi was the gap between #54 Nissan and #7 Acura, Nissan beating the Acura DPi with just 0.001s separating them.

James Allen was quickest in 4-car LMP2 class class in #81 DragonSpeed ORECA with 1:37.255 around the track, ahead of #52 PR1 Mathiasen entry by 0.257 seconds.

Nick Tandy turned in fastest lap of GTLM in #911 Porsche 911 RSR with 1:43.475.

Following the Porsche was #3 Corvette of Jan Magnussen and #67 Ford of Ryan Briscoe in 2nd and 3rd.

Risi Competizione was unbeatable in GTD as Daniel Serra set the fastest lap in #51 Ferrari 488 GT3. Trent Hindman and Ben Keating completed the top three in class for Meyer Shank Racing and Mercedes-AMG Team Riley Motorsports.
