GruppeM set the fastest time of the day in Practice 4 after red flags stopped the action.
#999 car set a laptime of 2:03.588 around the mountain to get the top spot with the help of Maxmilian Goetz.
All teams were in nip and tuck battle with Mercedes including Ferrari, Audi and BMW.
Kelvin van der Linde set fastest lap for Audi Team Valvoline to end up 2nd, 0.04s shy of the Mercedes.
The session was filled with excitement as Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari and Mercedes consistently beat each other's time on the finish line.
Martin Tomcyzk put BMW Team Schnitzer to 3rd position, making it 3 different manufacturers in Top 3.
#27 HubAuto Corsa Ferrari was 4th quickest, ahead of Craft Bamboo Mercedes.
GT3 Pro-Am class was led by #777 Porsche of The Bend Motorsports, driven by David Reynolds in ninth place overall.
The session had no incidents, with only red flag shown for KTM X-Bow GT4 of Vantage Freight.
The session was green flagged just 4 minutes before the rain.
Meanwhile an update by one of the drivers of #3 Audi, Gordon Sheddon confirmed on social media of the team's retirement from the race, as the car driven by Pete Storey crashed in opening practice of Friday, leaving significant damage.
