DS Techeetah newcomer Antonio Felix da Costa led final practice of the weekend ahead of qualifying for Race 2 at Diriyah E-Prix.
The Portuguese driver set a benchmark time of 1:11:084s just before the session ended to top the times after a difficult Friday with multiple difficulties.
Friday's race winner Sam Bird was second quickest, just 0.02s behind Da Costa in the Audi-powered Virgin Racing car while polesitter for Race 1 Alexander Sims ended third in the BMW i Andretti car.
Da Costa's lap was 3.5 seconds quicker than Sims's pole lap on Friday as grip levels improved.
Nissan edams driver Oliver Rowland picked up 5th place after leading most of the session, ahead of Pascal Wehrlein and Robin Frijns.
Several incidents happened during the session, including NIO's Oliver Turvey who had to run down the escape road while Felipe Massa damaged the front-right suspension of his Venturi by hitting the wall.
James Calado had another tough start to the day as the Jaguar rookie damaged his front and rear suspension by hitting the wall, forcing him to sit out for the rest of the session.
Daniel Abt set the seventh quickest lap ahead of his teammate Lucas Di Grassi in the Audi e-tron FE06 while Maximilian Guenther and Mitch Evans rounded out the top 10.
2-times and reigning Formula E champion Jean-Eric Vergne had all but a good start to the session as the DS Techeetah driver hit wall early in the session. He was able to limp back to pits but sit out for rest of the session after retiring yesterday with broken steering rack. The team is forced to replace the battery due to the incident before qualifying.
Series debutants Porsche and Mercedes had an uneventful session, with quickest of the two teams being Andre Lotterer in 15th place.
The focus now moves on to qualifying, taking place at 11:00 am local time.
