Aston Martin top of the class before Top 10 shootout

#62 Aston Martin Vantage R-Motorsport will be last to qualify for the Top 10 shootout as the car was quickest in a thrilling qualifying session.
Jake Dennis set a laptime of 2:02.4217 to top the timesheets after the chequered flag was waved, though the team will get a double-position grid position due to speeding in the pitlane.
Early record time was set by Yelmer Buurman in the #19 Black Falcon Mercedes with 2:02.4726, which remained on the top spot before #62 Aston beat it. #19 ended up 4th in final results, behind the #62 Vantage, #777 The Bent Motorsport Park Mercedes of David Reynolds and the #77 Craft Bamboo Mercedes of Maro Engel.
#62 R-Motorsports Aston was quickest in first qualifying session as well as he set the quickest lap with just 5 minutes to go.
Meanwhile, the other #760 Aston Martin had bit of a bad luck, as it slightly kissed the barriers and broke the mirrors as well as damaged the side of the car, as the mechanics will repair it over night.
Meanwhile, #912 Porsche was in 5th position, with Matt Campbell setting only a handful of laps, enough to keep him for Top 10 shootout.
Behind #912 was the #107 Bentley Continental GT3 of Steven Kane, who made it into the Top 10 in final few minutes.
Raffaele Marciello in #999 GruppeM Mercedes and #18 KCMG Nissan completed the contenders for the shootout.

Meanwhile, the 2 stars of the weekend, the triple-eight Vodafone Mercedes and Chaz Mostert who was the pole-sitter last year, were both off the pace as they were 19th and 15th respectively.
Ben Barker was quickest in GT3 Cup Class, with 2:06.4520 on the clock.
Mathias Beche took the #71 KTM X-Bow GT4 top of Class C with 2.17.0721.
#91 MARC II entry in Invitational Class was quicker than the B and C classes as well as one of the Class A cars. He will start 27th however, losing 2 places due to pitlane speeding.
Next up is Top 10 shootout, before the race kicks off at 11:45 Pakistan Time.
