41 cars to compete in 2019 European Le Mans Series

After the announcement of yesterday's Le Mans entry list, ACO revealed all of the participants for 2019 European Le Mans Series, which features 41 cars.

LMP2 class features an incredible 18 car grid, with 11 ORECAs, 6 Ligiers and a Dallara completing the grid.

Carlin is the new team for 2019, adding another team to LMP2 class beside the 4 other teams that jumped up from LMP3 (BHK Motorsport, Cool Racing, RLR MSport and Europol).

SMP Racing is missing this year along with AVF. Racing Engineering is also absent from the list.

Panis Barathez suffered a disappointing year in 2018 and is entering another car. GRAFF Racing enters a single car for 2019.

LMP3 grid has shrinked for the season, with most of the cars making up to LMP2 and LMGTE cars increasing.

Realteam Racing is new team to the series, although being under operation of GRAFF.

Nielsen and 360 Racing entered pairs of their P3 cars with Eurointernational and M Racing entering single car for 2019.

Various teams have shifted from P3 to P2, with BySpeed refusing to enter ELMS and DKR moving to Le Mans Cup.

In LMGTE, a pair of Kessel Racing Ferraris, WEC Championship leader in GTE-Am Project 1 and Luzich Racing adding to the GTE grid. 9 cars in total set the grid.
