185 drivers on the provisional entry list for Le Mans

The sanctioning body for 24 Hours of Le Mans Automobile Club de l'Ouest has issued on Tuesday the provisional entry list for this year's Le Mans 24 Hours with 185 drivers taking the to track in 62 cars on the grid.

The entry list also includes the drivers nominated for test day on 2nd June, while only one driver is yet to be announced for Inter Europol's lineup as Leo Roussel was injured at the European Le Mans Series race at Monza last weekend with team finding a replacement.

Meanwhile in the Algarve Pro Racing lineup, David Zollinger replaces Mark Patterson after Patterson suffered pelvic fractures at Monza race last weekend, with the driver still recovering in the hospital and sitting out of the race.

Zollinger will driver alongside Algarve Pro Racing's regulars Andrea Pizzitola and John Falb.

In GTE-Pro, Jonny Adam will drive the #97 Aston Martin Vantage GTE alongside Alex Lynn and Maxime Martin, with Darren Turner partnering Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorenson, retaining the 2018 lineup.

ByKolles and Larbre Competition will retain Paolo Ruberti and Nick Boulle from Spa race, respectively.

The final addition of drivers to entry list are Patrick Long, Tracy Krohn and Nic Johnson in #99 Dempsey-Proton Porsche 911 RSR.

Furthermore in the test day list, 2017 Le Mans winner Brendon Hartley will turn laps on 2nd June driving the Toyota TS050 Hybrid, with regular drivers Sebastien Buemi and Mike Conway also on the board.

Ross Gunn is included in the GTE-Pro lineup for Aston Martin's test day, while in GTE-Am, Nick Yelloly will join Patrick Lindsey, Joerg Bergmeister and Egidio Perfetti to test the #56 Project 1 Porsche 911 RSR.
