Tatiana Calderon retained by Alfa Romeo as test driver

Alfa Romeo has announced that the team has decided to retain Tatiana Calderon as the test driver. Tatiana was recently signed up by Arden for a 2019 Formula 2 drive.
Tatiana had previously tested for the former Sauber F1 team during the Mexican Grand Prix last year. That was followed by a 2 day test at Fiorano in which the Colombian driver racked up some good mileage.
Team Principal of Alfa Romeo said: "The team is impressed by Tatiana’s commitment, persistence and skill."
"She delivered a good performance when she was given the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car for the first-time last season and has proven to be a valuable member of our team."
"Together, we will work on further developing Tatiana’s skills as a driver and the Alfa Romeo Racing project.”
“They’ve done a fantastic job from one year to the other and it’s always a privilege to work alongside such an experienced people." commented Tatiana, who will race in F2 with Arden this year.
