Lewis Hamilton secures 6th title in Austin

The 34-Year-Old from Stevenage, UK won his 6th title in Austin after finishing in 2nd at the US Grand Prix. It was Valtteri Bottas that won the race in Austin, Texas.

Lewis Hamilton is now the only driver in F1 to have six titles after his name. Lewis has now overtaken the great Juan Manuel Fangio in terms of titles won. He is now only one title behind to match the legend, Micheal Schumacher.

Lewis Hamilton has now a total of 381 points with 52 points still in the bag. Valtteri Bottas, his title rival since the start of the season has now lost the title fight. Bottas finished P1 in the race and Lewis finished P2 which was enough for him to be crowned SIX TIMES WORLD CHAMPION OF FORMULA 1.

The six-times world champion said,

"Thank you so much, guys - we did an incredible job... I can't believe it"

He further said, "It's just overwhelming if I'm really honest. My dad told me to never give up and that's the family motto."


"[It's an] overwhelming [feeling]. It was such a tough race today. Valtteri did a fabulous job today", said the six-times world champion.

He has now more world championships than Fangio, Prost, Vettel, Senna, Lauda, Mika and other champions.
