The team announced the launch date on its Twitter handle. The tweet read, "Frame the date. The future revealed."

Kimi Raikkonen will be returning to Sauber after more than a decade. It was Sauber that the ace Finn made his F1 debut with, back in 2001. Italian driver, Antonio Giovinazzi will be resuming his duties as an F1 driver, with a full time role with Sauber for 2019.

Sauber partnered with the Italian giant, Alfa Romeo at the beginning of the last season. Alfa is currently the title sponsor of the Swiss team.

It is worth mentioning that after joining forces with Alfa Romeo and signing up the highly talented, Charles Leclerc, Sauber made huge progress in 2018 and finished the season on a strong note with the Monegasque, often finishing within the points.

The Swiss outfit will now be looking forward to capitalize on its 2018 performance, with the return of the heavily experienced and former world champion, Kimi Raikkonen.
