Haas F1 team has finally revealed the much anticipated livery of their 2019 car. The golden and black livery is themed after British energy drinks company, Rich Energy's color scheme.

Gene Haas, founder and Chairman Haas F1 Team said, “The new car looks distinctive, not only in terms of its color scheme, but also with the new regulations in play.
“This is the time of the season when you hope you’ve got designs right and you can be competitive straight away,”
"Hopefully those design changes brought in for 2019 will improve the racing on-track, and more importantly give us a shot at making more of an impact at each Grand Prix.”
Haas had already dropped hints that the livery adorned by their VF-19 will be colored golden and black, due to Rich Energy being the title sponsor of the team. With this new livery, the team has moved away from its traditional red and grey livery, used from 2016 to 2018.
The new black and gold livery also retains sponsors such as Jack & Jones, Peak, BlueDEF, Richard Mille, Alpinestars and Pirelli.
Haas Team Principal Steiner Gunther also added: "Our partnership with Rich Energy is another positive example of moving forward as an organization. We’re pleased to see their colors on the VF-19, we welcome them as they join our valued partner group in utilizing Formula One as a global marketing platform."
“It’s important that we keep progressing as a team, and this season is no different.
"While 2018 delivered our best season to-date, the year showed, sometimes sharply, that we still have areas to improve on as a team.
On-track, our push for performance started early with the VF-19, our next step is to get to Spain and utilize our time there wisely to prepare for Australia.” stated Gunther.
A couple of days back, the team's Twitter handle tweeted a photo of the drivers, Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen, wearing black and golden shirts, with Rich Energy logo.
Haas is a well established name in NASCAR and the team's owner, Gene Haas wanted to translate the stateside success into a Formula 1 venture. Therefore, an F1 team was launched with technical assistance from Ferrari, in 2016.
“Partnering with the team has already significantly raised the profile of our brand, this livery unveil will again elevate us to another level." said the CEO of Rich Energy, William Storey.
I’m naturally delighted to finally see the Rich Energy colors and stag logo in Formula One with Haas F1 Team,”
It’s fantastic to see the VF-19 decked out in black and gold, with Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen similarly attired.
We’ve worked closely with Haas F1 Team to ensure we present a strong look, one we’re now very proud to take around the world competing in Formula One.” said Mr. Storey.
Haas had a very strong and positive season in 2018. Both drivers, Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean finished in points several times throughout the season, and the team finished 5th in the constructors' standings. The VF-18 was arguably the 5th fastest car in terms of pace by the end of the season.
Haas is being supplied the power unit as well as almost all the other technical components by Ferrari. Any performance gains regarding the Ferrari engine, would automatically mean that Haas would have to worry only about developing the chassis and stay ahead of the competition.

While Haas has already launched its livery for the 2019 season, the next car launch is by Toro Rosso, on February 11th followed by Renault, the very next day. As of yet, Williams remains the sole team to have not announced a car launch date.
