Mission Winnow is significantly advertised on Scuderia Ferrari's F1 machineries.

Scuderia Ferrari has removed the Mission Winnow branding from its official name and logo. Mission Winnow was related to cigarette brand, Marlboro.

The Italian marque had previously submitted its entry as 'Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow', but in an updated list published by the FIA, the name has been reverted to just 'Scuderia Ferrari' now.

Tobacco products' promotion and branding is strictly outlawed in Australian, the host of the round 1 of the 2019 F1 season. Although, both Ferrari and Mission Winnow had repeatedly refuted claims that the latter was associated with Marlboro, Ferrari was significantly under fire for advertising it.

The Ferrari-Mission Winnow partnership was announced during the Japanese Grand Prix last year, and Ferrari is not the sole team advertising a tobacco company in way or another; former rivals, McLaren also announced its own partnership with BAT (British American Tobacco) earlier last month.

McLaren's partnership is focused at developing technology, specially the batteries, in association with the McLaren Applied Technologies. The BAT sponsorship is quite prominent on the MCL34 under the disguise of 'A Better Tomorrow', a campaign by BAT, aimed at reducing the global numbers of smokers.
