Ferrari President, John Elkann claims that the team will undergo more changes over the course of the next few months.

John Elkann attended the Detroit auto show and talked to the media on the occasion. While talking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, John said that, "I have been dealing directly with Ferrari for a few months only,"
John Elkann stressed that Scuderia Ferrari needed to undergo a management reshuffle. He said:
"There was the need to strengthen the organisational structure of the team."
John Elkann assumed the office as the President of Ferrari, after the late Sergio Marchionne passed away last year. It is believed that the decisions finalized by Elkann were actually taken by the former President, Marchionne. Some of the key decisions included replacement of Kimi Raikkonen with the young Charles Leclerc as well as ousting Maurizio Arrivabene, in order to make Mattia Binotto the new Team Principal.
John Elkann shed light on the competency of Mattia Binotto saying that, Binotto had "unquestionable technical competence."
According to various sources, it has been reported that Mick Schumacher, son of the legendary 7 times world champion Michael Schumacher; is all set to join Ferrari's Driver Academy. Mick Schumacher won the F3 European title last season and he is set to race for Prema Racing in the 2019 F2 season.
Former Ferrari team boss, Stefano Domenicali is also rumored to be returning to the team. He currently serves in the capacity of CEO at Lamborghini.
When John Elkann was requested to elucidate on the circulating rumors, he replied:
"We will talk about it at the right time,"
John said that, "I can not anticipate decisions that will be taken within the Scuderia in the coming months."
"We want to build a future worthy of our winning past,"
"We want to win the world championship as soon as possible -- we have been losing too much time", Elkann concluded.
