Bottas on top at the End of FP1 in Spain

It was Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes who finished first at the end of Free Practice 1 in Spain. He set a lap time of 1m 17.951s on Soft Tyres.

Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari was 2nd behind Bottas with a lap time of 1m 18.066s on Soft Tyres.

Charles Leclerc was 3rd on Soft Tyres with a lap time of 1m 18.172s on Soft Tyres.


Defending World Champion, Lewis Hamilton was 4th fastest, 6 tenths slower than his teammate with a lap time of 1m 18.575s on Soft Tyres.


Romain Grosjean was best of the rest with a lap time of 1m 18.943s on Soft Tyres.


Home hero, Carlos Sainz Jr. was 6th fastest with a lap time of 1m 19.155s on Soft Tyres as well.


All top 6 fastest drivers used soft tyres to set their fastest lap time of the session.


Lance Stroll crashes at turn 9.

With just 70 seconds left in the session, Lance Stroll of Racing Point went a little bit over grass and lost the control of his car. He hit the barriers at turn 9 and retired.
